The Yoga Den Yoga School is for anyone who wants to learn more about their bodies, their practice, and their untapped potential. With our 200-hour, 300-hour and 500- hour Yoga Alliance-approved Training Program you will learn the anatomy of some of the most commonly used yoga postures, the healing benefits of each posture, pranayama (breath control) techniques to calm your mind and lower blood pressure, kriya (cleansing) yoga, and ayurveda, the Science of Life, 10,000 thousand-year-old system of keeping the body healthy to avoid disease. You will also experience yoga practices from many different traditions including Iyengar, Ashtanga, Anusara, Yin, Vinyasa and Kundalini. You will be taught safe and effective hands-on adjustments, as well as how to develop, sequence, and instruct a yoga class. Learn about the yamas (restraints) and niyamas (observances) and how to apply them to your practice and your life. You will experience a Puja, Oma, and Kirtan.


Course Details

Yoga Den’s Teacher training is lead by Leeza Villagomez and guest instructors. We will go over Asana’s, teaching technique, sequencing, team teaching, anatomy, pranayama, meditation, philosophy and much more.  You will need to:

  • Complete 200 hours of training in order to receive a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification.
  • Write a Minimum of a 1 Page report, double spaced of each book assigned ( you will get your book list with sign-up)
  • Assisting 60 Classes (or more)
  • Teaching 60 Classes (or more) for SEVA = Service
  • Take Asana Alignment Workshop
  • Learn about Raw Food Workshop
  • Take part in Cleanse Retreat
  • Take Bhakti Immersion Workshop
  • Take Restorative Workshop
Other Partner Yoga Workshop and other healing retreats to be announced.
As soon as you sign up you need to pick up pre-assignment to work on prior to Module A & B and will be asked to refrain from eating all animal proteins during the training. The training takes place at our studio located @ 1035 Montecito Drive, Corona, CA, 92879. There is some reading that is recommended before you start the training so be sure and sign up early.
You will take 12 pictures of yourself in designated Asana’s for before and after purposes.
